The title of the blog is one of the last things Brendan said to me after a day of dual sport riding. It was one of those days with less riding and more fixing. Here’s the cast of characters – the three amigos.
First, as Brendan kick started his bike, the 30 year old handlebar finally buckled under his ape like strength (per Brendan’s words).
Next, Jason’s bike got stuck in the mud and would not start back up. This is dual sporting at it’s best.
It was revived by a jump off my XT — what power! Matching muddy bikes.
Lastly, on the one and only day I don’t bring my spare levers, I snap my clutch lever clean off. Jason had a great time popping wheelies and riding the XT clutchless to Brendan’s. The Tacoma is no longer a virgin as my XT was hauled off in the bed of the still-smells-new truck. Oopsie!
Overall, it was a fun day of hanging out, cutting brush, walking trails, and most importantly, recording video. If you’re ready to laugh until your belly hurts, check out tweedle dee and tweedle dum below and listen to Jason’s funny horn. If you’re really impatient, go ahead and roll it up to 3 minutes into the video where you will see a beautifully executed faceplant. Otherwise, if you’ve got the time, there are some pretty funny moments throughout.

As always, the Japanese tourist was on the job documenting a day in the life of dual sporters at the local playground.
