This is just a few minutes into the ride. We crossed the road and went into a section of the local playground that I’d never been on. It was all downhill, literally, from there. Now, I have the multiple breaks in my collar bone to prove it. After much begging, the guys finally agreed with me that I couldn’t ride my bike back. I got to take a very uncomfortable ride back to the truck but it sure did beat trying to walk or ride back with the broken bones. Every bump in the path (and there were plenty) was excruciating! Here I am on the back of the DR350 ambulance.
The blizzard of 2009 paralyzes the great queen city. For the record, I had two gallons of milk, bread, and a tray of eggs in my fridge when this happened. Only true southerners understand this. It’s a joke okay folks (although I really already had those items at home). Obviously, the roads are too bad for driving.
The boys play hooky to ride. Brendan’s axle is boogered (his word) up so he takes out the XT. After all, it’s rider is out.
The bikes are loaded up.
Brendan and Jason look cold.
This is about the only way the XT will see snow… when someone else is riding it!
A bit of a random photo but it made me laugh. Is your shirt happy to see me?
