Life is good when the weather is great.  Life is better when you can enjoy the warm weather in a wide open Jeep.  Life is best when you spot the ice cream truck giving out free ice cream on such a beautiful day!

It’s funny how right after Lenny and I had a conversation about the school changing names, we spotted this t-shirt.  Was this shirt made by Old Navy for Charlotte University or is that UNCC, UNC Charlotte, University of Charlotte, or just plain old Charlotte?  Hmm…

Moving from four to two wheels was a fun transition.  Chad found some sewer lines but no, they weren’t smelly!  They are new and haven’t even been installed yet which is even better.

The paths were cut nice and wide.

The cows were a little apprehensive about the bikes rolling through.

Luke, I am your faaaaaather. Seriously, dirt helmets are so weird looking.

Sewer projects are great!

We got to practice riding on some rocks.

Jazz hands!

The nice thing about dual sports is you’re perfectly legal when you cross the street.  Now what happens after that is still questionable.

Once we got to the big machines, our fun was over.  They left a big hole and we were losing daylight.  That just leaves us more to explore another day.

Superman!

Riding off road needs daylight but riding on road does not so I rolled over to Quaker Steak for yet another bike night.

I saw plenty of cool bikes but not another single dual sport.

I couldn’t believe how crowded it still was so late in the evening.

The photos are grainy because it was dark and I chose not to use a flash.  You can still how many bikes there were.

I spotted this cool Beemer and later found the owner was a buddy of mine.

Then I found the Metro Honda crew. Here I’m saying hi to fellow dual sport owner, Roberto but I think he brought the street bike that night.

Tim’s Paul Smart reappeared.  Too bad I couldn’t find the new owner.

Then I ran into expert bike pusher and parker Barry.

I found the rest of the MOC crew – John, J, and Barry.  They had to bring the best bike to the pack – the Yammie!  Ok, the BMW, Triumph, and Duc aren’t so bad either ; )

It was nice to see that purty R6 in the garage.  Score: Yamaha 3 Suzuki 1

Another fun filled day starting on four wheels and eventually turning into two.  That’s a great evolution!
