We play a game called musical trailers where we have three bikes, two trailers, one tow vehicle, and one nasty dead rabbit.  Mark says let’s figure out the easiest way to do this and then make sure we don’t do it that way.  Where else can you laugh and carry on while the smell of road kill wafts by?

Step 1. Unload the biggest bike on the tiniest ramp.

Step 2. Skip the tow vehicle and just push the trailers around.  Balancing these things is trickier than you think.

Step 3. Prepare for the toolbox shuffle.  Mark was waiting on Jason to tell him about the clearance as he backed up.  Jason wasn’t expecting this duty so we had some pretty close calls.  In the end, it all worked out and we had some good laughs along the way.

Step 4.  Prepare the Frankenstein bike for loading.

Step 5. Add the third bike.

Step 6. Undo everything you’ve just done because the bike you need to unload is in the back.  Doh!

Here is David, owner of DKF Enterprises, and master tire changer.  No lawyers allowed!

David and Mark tag team the changing of the front tire.

David is also a Dyna Beads distributer and installer if you ever need.  I plan on using the dynamic balancing on my street bike.

Jason takes flat tire to a new level.

This is definitely a new experience for me.  David and his family have domesticated a pet squirrel who lives with them.

Boo!  Are you more scared by the ghosts or that big bad SV in the back?

We contributed to being green by riding in the green car to Rory’s favorite hangout.  We got to see Rory in his natural habitat although I still didn’t quite understand everything he was saying.  It just means I’ll have to practice my Australian more!

Kevin arrives with a new t-shirt just for me  : )

David contributes to the funnel cake theme by ordering an apple funnel cake covered in caramel and vanilla ice cream.  Yum!

Rae was served a drink in a broken glass so  the waitress promptly brought another drink but left the old one behind.  To ensure it wouldn’t be used again, Mark finished off the chip in the glass but inadvertently sent shards of glass shooting at Rae.   Oopsie!  Fortunately, no people were hurt in this incident… only innocent glasses.

It’s neat to bring together a diverse group of people from all different walks of life, ages, and areas of town with the common thread of two wheels.  Like Mark said, we have a really nice core group of friends and I am thankful to be a part of it.
