On my last dual sport ride, I managed to ride into a big pointy rock and shatter my headlight.  Fortunately, the plastic shroud survived minus the sticker getting torn up worse.

Although I demolished the cover, the bulb stayed in tact.

I pulled the headlight off the carcass and popped it on the bike with a good motor.

Now the XT headlight is ALIVE!

Of course no motorcycle maintenance and repair can go without sacrifice.  As I was tightening down the last few bolts, I scraped my finger against some of the broken glass.  I concocted a make shift band aid with some brown paper towels and masking tape in the garage.  Talk about roughing it!

Someone asked Fran what her motorcycle friends did when it got too cold to ride outside.  Some of us ride off road.  Some of us ride in heated gear.  Then we fill in the rest of the time with random excuses to have parties.  We call this event Wine and Wii.

It was nice to continue the celebration over some Jamocha Almond Fudge with Lenny.

I don’t have a lot of TV time so LT caught me up on some important commercials.  Then I decided to drown in my favorite channel – Bravo.  Some might find it strange that a gal who rides on two wheels could watch hours of this on end but I absolutely love it!
