Jason appears to be a happy camper at figure drawing class.

It’s interesting how two people looking at the same thing can have totally different perspectives.  Jason’s is on the left and mine is on the right. 

Our model goes through a series of two minutes, then five minutes…

… and finally twenty or thirty minute poses.  For the longer poses, she lies down.  Jason makes fun that my two minute sketches look exactly like my twenty minute versions.  The irony is the more time I have, the less time I take.  Once I hit the twenty minutes, my sketches take about 30 seconds.

As the other artists are using professional grade supplies, I show up with my (mini) scribble (but not scrabble) pad.

These are the real pros with easels, tables, and all kinds of good stuff.

We cross the street to meet the artist, David French.  His work is shown in an earlier entry about Mac’s Speed shop.

Jason and I enjoy a little wine and cheese although we sub our wine for beer and cider.

It was my pick of pizza toppings tonight.
