It’s not really a blizzard but if there is any threat or mention of snow or ice, we all have to go to the grocery store.  Most people do it before, but this crew goes out in the thick of it.  Jason braves it in the Jeep.

Lesley calls this the great Velveeta shortage of 2010.

This is my first time behind the wheel of the manual transmission Jeep since the accident.  I have to remove the boot to push the clutch all the way down but it was worth it.

We take our groceries home, and chef Lesley starts cooking a most delicious meal.

I’m tending both sides of the bar – server and patron.

Chad and Jason enjoy the drinks.

Elizabeth treks over with some Absinthe, red Solo cups, and some mixers.  This is how you prepare for a snow storm.

Leonard joins the party and quickly gets put to work in the kitchen.

Next Chad and Elizabeth get kitchen duty while Jason and Lesley sit back.

Look at Leonard eating all that food!

The meal is fabulous with Lesley’s homemade lasagna, salad, and garlic bread.

The after dinner drinks come along.  Elizabeth drops some sugar in her Absinthe.

The shooters prepare, execute, and finish.

Leonard is rocking!

Chef Chad prepares chocolate chip cookies and serves them up on the finest plastic plate china.

After dinner, drinks, and dessert must come Wii.

I make a feeble attempt at ski jump.  Let’s just say that ski jump and broken leg don’t mix.

Lesley is killing the bowling but not like I do with ZIG ZAG BALL!  If you’ve ever played 100 pin bowling on Wii, you know that there are no gutters, just bumpers.  I like to crank my Mii as far to one side and at an angle to just let the ball ricochet down the lane.  Watching a zig zag ball is the stuff!

Elizabeth is all about riding cows.

We wrap up with some Mario Kart.  I believe there is talk of target fixation on crab people.

After my failed ski jump, I end up avoiding the paparazzi but get caught holding a martini.

Being snowed in stinks unless of course you bring the party to you.  Being snowed in with friends while eating great food, drinking tasty concoctions, and playing zig zag ball is the best!
