I love to glaze.  It’s like Christmas to see how my pottery turns out after round two in the kiln with glaze.  This is before…

… and after.  I love how the ryoko cream shows off the carving.

Pam makes a cool chicken on her egg poacher.  It makes perfect sense!

For once I throw something that is bigger than a tiny bowl.  I add some fancy finger pattern at the top.

It goes to the fan so I can carve it before I leave.

You haven’t carved until you carve the bottom out of a bowl.  Trust me, I’ve definitely “carved” before then.

The bowl is ready for the first bisque firing.

Part 4

Trisha and Sharon work diligently and Cathy inspects her work.

On our final official day of class, we have a potluck lunch.

Jinny shows us the avocado and brie sandwiches on wheat sandwich thins.  Deelish!

I’m using real pottery!

The kiln is full and ready to be unloaded.

Kat is an amazing professional potterer.
