Who would have thought that the bed could not make it up the hallway?  Mark contemplates a solution.

He is well prepared with tools.

The end cap is removed and the preparation for the cut begins.

Mark uses his make shift saw horse, the recycle bin.

Mark gives it one more look before taking the plunge.

It’s go time!

See it in action.

The cut is successful!  Mark says he couldn’t have asked for better results.

The foreign maid service arrives.

The end cap is replaced and the bed is complete.

Now the moving crew arrives.

Up up and away!

One last corner to turn

They made it!

The drawers are the last touch.

Voila!

Now it’s time to celebrate with Perry’s homemade egg custard.

As designated “chef,” Perry is in charge of scooping the avocados.

Mark and Fran are designated eaters along with Jason.

We feast on avocado and brie sandwiches with chips and salsa.

I’m a puppet on a stick.  Totally random.

The dining room does not house a bed any longer.  Instead, we dine on a stylish black card table.

The bed surgery is a major success thanks to Mark’s careful planning and craftsmanship.  Another big thanks to our moving crew of Jason and Perry with Fran as moral support.
