Brendan brings a special delivery of the SVS.  We leave the homestead with three Suzuki’s.

Jason meets up with the other Suzuki riders, Fran and Perry.  We decide to keep it down to only four Suzuki’s instead of five: SV 650, SV 650, DRZ 400 SM, DRZ 400 SM – I guess we aren’t the most original bunch with matching bikes.

The teacher and his student keeps on keeping on

Brendan wanted to put the passenger pegs on but somehow I gave him three left pegs but no right pegs.  He improvises with a left peg on the right side.  The next thing is I that when I go to test out the rear brake, I discover it’s GONE!  Oopsie!  I guess it fell off but Brendan never noticed.

As with all of my rides with Brendan, we must “rig” something up and this ride is no different.  It turns out in addition to a missing brake pedal, the tail light is not even bolted into the subframe.  Never fear – masking and packing tape to the rescue!

It’s my inaugural ride back out on the SVS.

Brendan takes the grandpa-mobile and Fran joins him.

Perry and Jason are the yin and the yang of DRZ 400 SM world.

It’s worth the stop for Graham’s Fish Fry buffet.
