This entry is dedicated to Cris and his new old bike, the 1973 Triumph Tiger. He loves to have his photo (in his British accent) plastered all over the internet tomorrow.
Check out that rear brake on the left and shifter on the right. Talk about confusing in a panic situation!
David, Will, and Toby arrive early
Brendan is making a terrible eating wings face. When Brendan tells me he wants a pig, he’s not talking about a pet pig which is what I thought. He’s talking about a little pig BBQ sandwich. After sharing a plate of wings and nachos, he proceeds to eat a BBQ sandwich with slaw and hushpuppies. As a before bed snack, Brendan enjoys a PB&J sandwich with two glasses of milk, bowl of ramen noodles, and some yogurt. It must be nice to be a growing boy!
Cris and Chuck and Chuck’s HP2 make an appearance
Brendan poses with his WR 250 which a lady commented on looks like some busted on.
The turn out is slimmer than I thought it would be for a beautiful day.
The new checkered pattern and spruced up overhang make it biker (ahem… NASCAR) friendly.
George is last month’s new person and Jim is this month’s new person. Nelson is smiling as always.
I want this R 80 GS. I’ve been on the hunt for a vintage ride to fill out my stable and a vintage BMW would kill two birds with one stone. This is my dream!
Oh goodness! This is what my busted up 2001 SVS track bike would look like if I took care of it. However, I just ride my bike and then swap front ends out between the street and track and go on. Having a pretty bike is not my strong suit.
2MEAN4U Are those stripes a safety thing?
Cute! TKTMSTR. I wonder if he has a ridiculously high service charge.
Another I want this moment as I see this side car with suspension onto the main bike. I suppose the bike can still lean with this set up.
I never really look like a bike rider. People always act super surprised to find out that I am. I call this Goon on a 550.
The International Scouts are super cool no matter what the condition.
It’s not the Blue Man Group. It’s the Blue Man in Blue Shirts Group. Which one of these is not like the others?
The new Multistrada is described as less ugly as before. I guess that’s a compliment.
Where is Steve on the Moto Guzzi when you need him for a photo op? David makes his bike a multipurpose ride.
Ken and Cris finally meet. They have opposite riding patterns but today their paths cross and I help lead the way.
Brendan, Jason, Ken, and Johanna
Kevin with his new Triumph jacket from the 2010 collection and his matching Miley Cyrus shirt from Walmart – I mean his new Triumph shirt from this season’s catalog.
Don hangs with the Reverend who is on my dream bike.
I couldn’t let the night pass without a photo of my two very favorite FAST and TAN Brits AKA Two Smiling Brits.
It appears that the turnout is inversely related to the weather. I’ve seen more bikes on a questionably rainy day. Oh well. A day with bikes and smoked and grilled (not fried) wings (or for me little drumsticks) is a good day for sure.
PS Get well soon Mark. Everyone is asking about and thinking of you!
