Whenever you get a new toy, you have to play with it as much as possible.
Jason locks up our bikes to the water fountain. Notice where it tells you not to lean on the glass because it’s cracked pretty good.
After biking over seven miles to get there, we enjoy some greasy eats at the Penguin. Even in the middle of the afternoon, this place still has a wait. I think it always looks crowded because there is so little seating.
The barbecue sign is so pronounced but not once have I ever had it. I discover that I have a very hard time understanding what is Southern style vs. regular on the menu. I end up with chili and slaw when what I want is lettuce and tomato. I’ll have to practice that reading thing more.
After a big tasty meal at the Penguin, I actually ride home in less time than the original voyage there. 15 miles logged on the new ride!
