After discovering the street SV needs a new clutch and cover gasket, the parts on order finally arrive.  Jason goes to work to button things up.

The original gasket is deformed so we get a replacement and the cover finally goes on without leaking oil.

A mechanic must always test ride his work before the customer!

Unfortunately, it’s discovered that with the ASV lever, the clutch switch will not activate without a lot of fiddling around and leaving the clutch slightly engaged.  I suspect the clutch is often out of adjustment which is why I’ve been burning through clutches so fast.  Out comes the switch and in comes the soldering iron.  No more clutch safety when starting the bike.

The SV finally comes home!

I guess it pays to ride the same bike which is where and why it all started.
