We are branded like cattle by C&E Gun Shows when we walk in.

It’s a large warehouse  at the Park (formerly the Merchandise Mart) with rows filled with tables covered in guns.  Last time we went to the gun show, it was at Metrolina Expo.

Jami, Jason, and Jason browse the guns.  I’m not sure who that new friend is looking over Jason’s shoulder.  Maybe he’s from the Matrix.

They start them young with wooden guns.

I understand the Drop 200 lbs FAST part but the 300 lbs and over, Double Tap doesn’t make sense.  I remember the Double Tap rule from Zombieland so maybe this is referring to that ?

No joke: It’s all fun and games.. .until someone loses a weiner.  Very similar to It’s all fun and games – Part 1until someone gets hurt – Part 2!

Evidently, it’s common to sell your guns by taping a flag to your gun or back like a kick me sign.

Randy’s Guns – you’ve got to love creative marketing.  It definitely gets the point across.

I think there are more non-words on this ad than real words: Clux, Delux, Chix, and the famous Chef’s Chow Chow!  I think the winner is Clux Chix Tender Fritters.

Oh my that’s a big gun you’ve got!

I am mesmerized by this man doing a welding stick demonstration.  Evidently, you can buy these thin rods of  ”cold weld” and heat them up with a propane torch.  He demonstrates poking a hole in a soda can and then melting the stick onto it similar to solder.  I keep watching this demo over and over.  It’s great!  Of course, I didn’t buy any of the stuff though.

Jason is browsing and something catches his eye.

It catches his eye enough to stop and pull out his wallet.  He goes through a series of emotions as he makes his first gun purchase.

He decides on a very nice HK USP9 9mm gun.

Congrats J on your first fancy gun… it looks like more fancy things will be in your future!

One Response to “C&E Gun Show and the new HK”

  1. Anything over three hundred pounds refers to bigger humans, so double tap (two rounds) would be appropriate. Or the Mozambique drill…”two to the body, one to the head; guaranteed to leave them dead.” Kind rolls off the tounge. I had one of these H&K’s in the BP. Fine weapon, good choice…
