If you’re a regular reader and especially a subscriber, please let me say THANK YOU for being interested in my adventures.  Since I started this blog over three years ago, it has grown and become more than I ever thought it would all because of YOU my readers!  Next, you may have noticed that the Antirder has been riding less and less therefore living up to my name.  Recently, I met a Cornerspeed instructor who told me:

You can’t let life get in the way of your trackdays!

It’s so true!  Lately, it seems the road of life has had more bumps along the way than I’m used to but I’ve learned to stand up on my pegs, use my legs as springs, and just ride over while carrying speed – GAS GAS GAS will get you through!  It’s counterintuitive but it may save your life or your dirt bike’s life at least : )

If you’re wondering what I’ve been doing instead of blogging, I’ve been living life to the fullest and taking tons of photos as usual.  I promise I will catch up and fortunately I have the time in my somewhat flexible schedule to do this.  Don’t get me wrong – I’m still busy with work, life and friends but I WILL make the time to keep you posted on my adventures!  It’s not like I’m some stay-at-home mom baking chocolate chip banana muffins from scratch while volunteering all the time and being a part of the PTA.  It’s not like I spend my days sitting on the Mac surfing the net and practicing piano while waiting for my kid to get off the bus.  That would be crazy for the Antirider to have a life like that!  I love my fun filled adventurous life where I’m breaking multiple bones a year and spending my nights out on the town!  Now I just need to get that heated jacket back out of the closet and get on two wheels again!

The old faded Kodak paper says 1984 on the back so I’ve been rocking tights with skirts and argyle sweaters since I was six years old.  If there was a six year old  mini C or mini me running around, would she wear tights and skirts?  I’m going to say with confidence that she would and she’d probably be more stylish and wear some mid-calf gray suede boots to match.

Happy birthday to me!  Thanks readers for joining me on this special day!

  1. Happy Birthday Caroleen !! Two words with regards to getting back on the bike, “Fuzzy Beaver”, coming up next weekend in Murphy. Just kidding of course because I know you have nothing but painful memories of that place. I truly do enjoy reading your blogs, not sure why though because they make me feel old, really, really old. Anyway, enjoy your special day and keep on riding. Mitchell

  2. Happy Birthday!
