I remember Russell bringing that little camp stove heater thing to the house. It actually seems much more appropriate in this setting than sitting on my kitchen counter… right next to a regular working stove!
This is what camping looks like.
Bacon always make life a little bit better.
Russell gets to work on his arts and crafts project.
He gives a lesson on archery to his small audience.
The tarps provides some good shade.
These people mean business when it comes to cooking, even camp cooking.
The boys go to town with a sling shot. Boys will be boys.
We head down to the river to scope it out.
The peeps and pets are wading around.
Fortunately, the crews have room in the cab for plenty of blown up tubes.
The tubes come down to the river.
People get settled and the kids share a float.
We head down the river and under a bridge.
Russell brings a rope to tether the group.
Man’s best friend joins us in tubing. Notice how deep these rapid rivers are.
My view. My toes.
Russell calls this Princess tubing with my beach towel and Tervis Tumbler and matching pink lid.
Love this!
Okay, this is the most smoking-ist group of folks I’ve ever been around. They bring their own dry box for to protect their goods.
After the longest tubing experience ever, we all pile into the truck and roll home!
