At some point, you have to make choices.  You’re either Windows or PC.  You’re Android or  iPhone. I am Windows and I have an Android.  The classic C story part is that I am also Mac and carry an iPhone.  For many months, you would see me reach into my purse and pull out BOTH an Android AND an iPhone.  Gluttonous you say?  Possibly.  However, I can truly say I KNOW the pros and cons of both platforms and I’m not in one camp speculating about what the other camp may be thinking.

The update is I’m still not completely Mac but the Android is going by the wayside.  I pull the Verizon life out of it recently and breathe new life into an AT&T iPhone.  Before you gasp or keel over from the heart attack from learning of me leaving Verizon, let me quickly add, Verizon plays hardball and won’t give me an upgrade to the new iPhone 4s but ironically, I am OUT OF CONTRACT.  So I do what I have to, I leave.  I’m hoping to come back soon although I may just sit out with my dropped-calls could-not-activate-cellular-network AT&T iPhone until someone comes out with an iPhone on 4G.  That will be the day!

Here is a detailed comparison of Windows and Mac or Android and iOS but no, not really.  Those two above paragraphs have nothing to do with this!  I finally upgrade my GIGANTIC Canon all-in-one printer to the Fujitsu ScanSnap 1500M (M is for Mac but it ships with both Windows and Mac software).  When Chad and I go to buy my Canon printer, I don’t notice how large it is on display at Costco.  I get home and notice the box is kind of large but don’t think much of it.  Then I open the box and this Canon is a BEAST!  Chad says, couldn’t you tell from the big box it was big?  Well, no.  Why would I think the printer is the size of the box?  Thank goodness the Canon printer is wireless because it remained homeless in my home for it’s entire life… shifting from the floor to the table to the rack to the…. drum roll please… third bedroom!

Enough of this useless banter, the bottom line is my new Fujitsu scanner is MUCH smaller, lighter, incredibly faster, and much more user friendly.  If you’re debating about taking the plunge to go paperless, invest your money in this petite but powerful friend.  It’s worth a zillion times it’s weight in gold!  A picture is worth a thousand words so check out the size comparison yourself.  To answer everyone’s question: SIZE MATTERS!

Simpler + smaller + white = Mac

iEverything almost except no Apple TV although I use it on occasion, no Airport Express which I’m also guilty of enjoying from time to time, and there are still more PC’s in my home and two Androids floating through the house.  i(almost)Everything.  BTW – do these folks double hike and single fish?

PS Thanks Richard and Ruth for dinner!  This one is written live from the mountain!
